Over the summer I got into a bunch of meme-sharing Facebook groups and while I was cleaning popcorn from under seats at the local cinema, I saw that one way you could look at memes are as a coping mechanism. They are coded messages sent back and forth between anxious people to express their fears, concerns and hopes in a nonsensical, often hopeless society. It was these messages that inspired my "trap banger" album. I'd like to think of this as my best work yet and I hope y'all will enjoy it at least as much as the seagulls who hang out in the movie theater parking lot.
